Amigos Tenpin bowling is a singles-format bowling league operated on a handicap basis, making the competition accessible to both new and experienced bowlers. Points are awarded for both one-on-one match-ups and individual achievement.

The league runs from March to November and is split into two seasons. Two awards are presented during the year, one for Season 1 and the second for overall full year achievements. There is no special award for Season 2 as bowlers entering late in the year start with pro-rata points for the year to date
